Cross Country Success

Today (Monday 24th January) 48 boys and girls represented LJS in the Gloucester cross country championships. Every boy and girl was a credit to the school and ran their socks off. We also came away with some fantastic results:

Year 3- 1st overall

Year 4- 1st overall

Year 6- 1st overall

12 Children have been subsequently invited to run for the county and 6 children received medals for top 3 finishes in their respective races:

Monty P- 1st (year 4 boys)

Monty M- 3rd (year 4 boys)

Millie- 3rd (year 4 girls)

Lexie- 3rd (year 5 girls)

Sam- 1st (year 6 boys)

Amari- 2nd (year 6 girls)
