Welcome to LJS! Those three little words were chosen by our school community as our slogan and they sum up perfectly what we set out to promote and achieve for every child who walks through our doors.
We draw our inspiration from your children and the desire for each and every one of them to be happy in themselves and proud of their achievements. There is richness and vibrancy to be found all around the school yet always balanced with a sense of purpose and positive intent.
Longlevens Junior School has been a central part of the community since the 1930’s and over the years it has played a major role in the educational journey for many children of Longlevens and the surrounding area. It is my privilege to lead this wonderful school and welcome you and your family to join us for what I hope will be a journey full of excitement, wonder, warmth and personal achievement.
This website is work in progress but will grow and hopefully give you an insight into the education your child can expect to enjoy at LJS, and an insight into the life and values of our school. Together, we can keep it a special place to be.
